My ex husband is a cruel, selfish, manipulative, scheming, turd.  And his wife is all that and a bitch.

You may remember the entry I did about a possible life change.  Well, we went to Waco this weekend, to meet the would be new boss, look at the would be new office, and scout out housing in the would be new town.

It was my oldests weekend to be with her father.  Her father and I live 4 hours apart, so its been a constant that we meet at a town mid point between us.  On Friday, I drop her off, and tell him, "Ill be in Waco until Sunday, and I will meet you back here at 6 PM."  He agrees, and I tell Cheyanne to have a good time.

We have a wonderful weekend, exploring, house hunting, and looking.  We already applied for a GORGEOUS 4 bedroom, 2 bath, brick house in a gated community...things were going WONDERFUL.

We start running a bit late, so I call the ex to tell him that I will be late to the meetup.  I call him at 5:30, hoping to catch someone.  He hasnt even left the house yet.  He has decided that since I didnt have MY cell phone with me, and they tried to call me all weekend to ask me to be there EARLIER, that he will not be bringing her back to the meetup at 6 PM.

Im trying to digest what I just heard.  Especially since he has the number of the Mr's cell phone...(although he claims he lost it), and he SAYS he's been calling my HOME PHONE, and no one has been answering.  Umm, hello, DUMBASS, we were in WACO,,,of course we werent answering.  Which, when I said that on the phone, caused my husband to say out loud, "What are you, a moron?"

Which got the ex all fired up, and he accused me of breaking the "court order" by moving to Waco since I didnt give him written notice...(Which I was going to WHEN we made the final decision...) and he hung up on me.  Not giving me a shred of time to even respond to his inane ramblings..and yet he said WE had attitudes.  *insert eye roll here*

To make a long story short..24 phone calls to him, 20 of them unanswered, and the 4 that were were recieved with rather immature statements...so we told them, "We will be driving to your house to pick her up.  Expect law enforcement to be with us."    His reply was..."Fine, Ive already called the cops."

Which, when we showed up with the officer behind me...his jaw damn near fell open.  His wife decided to try to talk to me, and ask me nasty questions, and the officer told her to be quite, cause he would not hesitate to take us all to jail.  I just stood there, and picked up Cheys stuff, thanked the officer, and went home.

Adding 4 hours onto the long ass drive, and getting my children home to bed after 11 PM.   And a full apology to my daughter for having to do what we did.  I feel horrible...but when he decided that it was fine to break the custody agreement, infringe on my custody, and possibly interfere with her school, I had had it.

That man is a horrible selfish troll, and his wife is a gnome.   And he really has NO idea who he is messing with when he pulls this crap.

Oh my goodness...
That's crap on a stick, it is!

'What are you, a moron?' made me giggle!

How old is Cheyanne? I guess what I'm asking here, is: How much longer will she have to put up with that crap?

My bro is counting the days down until he is old enough to legally declare his independance from his father.

Why are some fathers such ass-tards?

I got it off one of my fellow LJ-ers. It fits...

I call my dad a f***-tard in my head sometimes. I'm not supposed to talk like that around the kiddoes. Just take a derogatory word and add 'tard' to the end! Viola! Instant insult!

Oh gods, that must've been horrible :(

I hope Cheyanne knows that this is not about her. I've read too many cases of kids being used as a "football" between former spouses. You did the right thing in making sure you had the cops at your back.

*big hugs*

Oh, theres no football here. The FIRST thing I did when we got in the car was to apologize to her, and explain exactly why we did what we did.

Shes upset...but at this moment, more so at her father than at us.

Oh hell no. That tw*t came along later. I left him cause he coulndt/wouldnt hold a job...spent money we needed for expenses on fishing crap...and I had suspicions of him cheating on me.

Plus when someone angers me to the point that I put my fist through a sheetrock wall...I think its time for me to leave.

Spending money I had saved for weeks for our daughters first birthday party on fishing lures and junk.

Wow, that really sucks. What an awful situation. Good for you for sticking to your threat and getting the cops. You think that will make him think twice the next time he tries to pull crap like that?

Your poor girl...Cheyanne, is it? She sounds more mature than just 10 years old.

And yeah, spending money you'd saved for your daughter's first birthday party on fishing junk calls for physical violence.

**hugs**
